GolfPoint (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a club-branded mobile app, an optional in-venue kiosk, and a web portal (together, the “Services”). These Services include Caddius™, GolfPoint Group’s AI caddie experience. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Services.
By using GolfPoint (including Caddius), you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2) Information We Collect
We collect information to deliver the Services, improve performance, and support your club community.
a) Personal Information
- Account details: first name, surname, email address, club membership/association.
- Club details: club name and address, and (if enabled by your club) membership verification.
- Support/communications: messages you send to us or your club via the app or portal.
b) Usage & Device Data
- App actions such as viewing news, joining rounds, posting scores, or viewing leaderboards.
- Device and technical data (e.g., IP address, device model, operating system, app version, crash logs).
c) Location Data (optional)
When you enable location services, we use GPS during play to power Caddius™ and course features. Location is used in real time and is not stored longer than necessary to provide those features.
d) Scorecards & Round Data
We collect score entries, formats (e.g., stroke play, match play), and round participation in order to provide live scoring and leaderboards. Clubs may display daily/weekly leaderboards to all members.
e) Ordering & Payments (optional)
If your club enables on-course ordering, we collect the items ordered and fulfilment details. Card data is processed by a PCI-compliant payment provider and is not stored by GolfPoint.
f) Booking Links
When you follow booking links to third-party systems (e.g., BRS, GolfNow), those providers may process your data under their own policies. We log a basic click event to help your club understand engagement.
3) How We Use Information
- Deliver core features: club news, notifications, bookings access, live scoring, leaderboards, and ordering.
- Provide AI caddie advice via Caddius™ using club-supplied course data, your context (e.g., position, yardages), and live weather.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the app, kiosk, and portal; monitor performance; diagnose issues.
- Communicate service messages, updates, security notices, and (if enabled by your club) club announcements.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
5) Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate.
- Payment data is handled by PCI-compliant processors and is never stored by GolfPoint.
- We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services and comply with law.
6) Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access a copy of your personal information.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your account and associated personal data (subject to lawful retention).
- Restrict/withdraw consent for location services and marketing communications.
- Data portability (where applicable by law).

7) Children’s Privacy
GolfPoint is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here and revise the “Effective date” above. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or by email.
